Hey! I'm Emily, 26 and I'm a kiwi girl from Christchurch, NZ. I'm the oldest of 5 kids but also the shortest haha I enjoy spending time with family and friends over good food and wine. I'm a fun loving, mostly outgoing but sometimes shy kinda girl who's always up for a challenge and having a laugh. I'm currently backpacking through Europe before heading home for the summer to save for my next adventure. I also volunteer as a youth leader at a youth group at my church, which I really enjoy doing.

I'm eager to experience the world and the diverse cultures we share through making new friends. I love to teach and learn with cool people so what better way to do this (:

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much anything - big fan of most pop, country, musicals and Disney soundtracks.
Books: to be honest, not a big book reader.. but I have enjoyed the Narnia Chronicles, Harry Potter and Nicholas Sparks novels.
Movies: relatively picky when it comes to watching movies - I quite enjoy Action, Thrillers and Comedies. I'm a sucker for anything romantic, Titanic, Disney and musicals..
TV Shows: Don't even get me started haha in love with Putlocker 😊

- Got 2 of my first tattoos in Budapest
- Visited 24 Countries in 3 months
- Went to a Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid Football Game

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm keen to learn more about cooking, (especially international dishes) different languages and cultures. Happy to teach my own cooking tips as well as some baking tricks. I'm super keen share travel and life stories (:

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately I can't host at the moment.. but when I can I will be able to offer a friendly and comfortable environment for surfers to stay in as well as cool stories, great travel tips in NZ and amazing memories to be shared - an all round fun experience.
