About Me
Hello! I'm your token friendly Kiwi, full of useless fun facts, grand ideas about how to save the world, and I'm always keen for a beer and a boogie. I'm in the midst of my first solo trip, and with that has come the realisation that there are so many wonderful people in the world I am yet to meet.
I'm an environmentalist, but who isn't. In my career I've worked for charities, and my dream would be to use my skills to help heal our beautiful planet.
I love food, new terrifying experiences, EDM, reading books, riding my bike, drinking good coffee, hiking, and that feeling you get when you're in a magnificent natural setting and your entire body relaxes, your mind stills and your heart fills with contentment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had heard of couch surfing a few times but never given it much thought. Only after throwing myself into a scary solo adventure, and meeting hundreds of amazing people, did I realise that this is the perfect vehicle to continue making connections.
Thus, I have no reviews and no verifications (yet), but I am hoping that won't stop you from wanting to meet me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple of years ago I went on a road trip with about 20 friends, from Christchurch (South Island, NZ) to the very top of the North Island, NZ. We camped, hiked, went to music festivals, jumped off crazy waterfalls, made flower crowns, ran down sand dunes, and explored pristine rivers barefoot, and slept under the stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to speak Kiwi, and about our native wildlife.
I'm learning Spanish, and loving it.
I'll share anything as long as the vibe is right.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have some really good, really bad jokes. For example:
Why did the scarecrow get a promotion?
Because he was outstanding in his field.
No but seriously, happy to share my enthusiastic personality, a mutual love of travel, a bottle of wine, a hiking adventure, a party, some awesome kiwi music, and I can cook you (a delicious vegetarian) dinner!
