About Me
Hi!
My name is Emily and I have spent the last five years going between travelling, studying and working. I'm an architect with a passion for sustainable design and seeing the world goes hand in hand with my job!
My partner Micah and I spent most of 2017 travelling from Brisbane to Stockholm and back again. We used couch surfing a number of times and had some incredible experiences with great people. Unfortunately our current living arrangement cannot support couch surfing hosting but we are hoping to change that soon! For now we are very happy settling back home (for a little bit..) with our dog Maddox.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Naturally, I am interested in meeting people from other cultures, especially learning how to cook and experience local food! I also am fascinated by local architecture, particularly traditional housing. Both my partner and I come from large families so are used to cooking and hosting many events, which we both love. We have hosted friends in the past and love showing new friends who we have met in our travels our city of Brisbane.

I love cooking so I am happy to jump into the kitchen and cook what I know or learn a new dish! Unfortunately I am not fluent in another language but if you would like to practice English I would be more than happy to do that and learn some other languages along the way! I also love dogs and any other pets that you may have
