I am a 22 year old woman who has just graduated form the University of Florida in May 2014. With the job market being as bad as it is I am currently working nights at a restaurant, that focuses on Cuban food, in order to make money to travel and pay off student loans.

I am hoping to use couchsurfing as a way to get out and see the world. I hope to return the favor one day once I have a permanent residence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I believe in meeting interesting people and helping others fulfill their travel dreams, just as I hope others can help me fulfill mine.

Once I am in a permanent place I would love to have couch surfers at my own home to always be meeting new people. However, I am currently renting a very small room from some friends from high school and won't have the space to actually host for a couple of months.

Interests

I am trying to get into Yoga and Rock Climbing.
I run or swim for exercise.
I like photography, but more so for the candid pictures of friends than for art.
I LOVE cooking and will make you whatever food you want, or at least try.
I love music and beer.
I work very hard at anything I do, unless it involves sports, I am bad at sports.
I try to be positive all the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are The Shins, Fleet Foxes and The Avett Brothers.

My favorite books have been Harry Potter and Pendragon.(Haven't had a lot of free time to read since high school)

My favorite movies are anything that is free on Netflix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a camp counselor for two summers. Each summer I met about 1000 kids and it was so amazing seeing how much of an impact that camp made of their lives. That was a pretty amazing thing.
