Overview
About Me
I moved to Spain this year to be a cultural auxiliar. I studied Spanish for years at university but wanted to become fluent in the language and have a chance to live in and explore Europe! I have never taught prior to this job, but I have found that I really enjoy it. I love exploring and meeting new people and my favorite part of traveling is finding authentic places unique to each place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I’ve heard great things about it and I think the only way to truly know a place is by knowing the people!! Even staying at hostels with other people feels like “visiting”. I would love to learn about the cities from locals and couchsurfing seems to be the best way to do that. And to hopefully meet awesome people along the way!
Interests
I love exploring new places. I love history and art, and am trying to turn my 6+ years of Spanish classes into actual fluency, which is actually turning out to be harder than expected! During university I was in multiple student government organizations and I enjoy talking with people and helping solve problems (which isn’t really relevant to couchsurfing or travel, but you could call it an interest of mine 🤷🏼♀️)

Music, Movies, and Books
Harry Potter, perks of being a wallflower, not a huge poetry fan but I love everything by Maya Angelou, whatever my Spotify discover recommends, watching ted talks on YouTube
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My phone was pickpocketed in Rome, and due to a series of unfortunate events, I didn’t have a phone for a month! During that month I traveled to Scotland, London, Amsterdam, and Paris. Definitely one of the most difficult but rewarding trips I’ve ever done.
What I Can Share with Hosts
