Hey there! I'm a 22 year old living in Raleigh, North Carolina, but about to spend 6 months in Montana! I will be working as a bar manager at a ranch 30 minutes from Yellowstone! I'm hoping to find some cool people to stay with on my drive up!

Hiking and camping are two of my biggest passions, and the reasons I am most excited to be able to spend 6 months in beautiful Montana! I am a huge animal lover (especially dogs- but who isn't??) and I've successfully fostered 3. I'm very passionate about geology and the Earth and I am trying to get involved with some eco-conscious organizations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm trying to find some people to stay with on my drive to Montana! I'm going with a friend for the company and to ease the burden of the 32 hours of driving! We are taking a week to get up there to give us time to see everything along the way!

But, in more general terms, I want to start traveling and exploring this beautiful world! Starting with the US of A! Unfortunately right now I am not at a place where I can host guests, but I hope that soon I will be able to reciprocate the generosity of this site.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a bit of a netflix addict- it's what I like to do to unwind. I'm currently watching Sense 8 and SVU, but I like a wide variety of shows and movies. I really used to enjoy reading, but I've kind of fallen out of it recently. However, I'm starting to get back into it, so any book recommendations would be great! I enjoy a variety of genres; I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but listening to the Lord of the Rings on cd whenever I'm in my car (Harry Potter will always have my heart though)! I'm into most kinds of music, but my go to recently has been the oldies. Especially old country- bring on the Hank and Conway Twitty!

What I Can Share with Hosts

The biggest thing I can share with hosts is conversation and an open mind. I love to listen to other peoples' stories and memories. If you're looking for someone to get out in town with, or into nature with some hiking or exploring, I'm your gal!

I also don't mind giving a hand cleaning up around the house, or cooking up a few meals!
