About Me
I'm fresh out of my bachelor's degree and decided to do the cliche thing and backpack Europe! I studied Anthropology and Spanish and love learning about other cultures and ways of living. I spend as much time as possible outdoors. I find equal enjoyment curling up with a good book as going out to a bar. Meeting new people, along with traveling, is one of the greatest joys in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to be able to see the places I travel through a local's eyes, meet new people with different backgrounds, and, of course, save money. Once I'm settled down again, I'd love to be able to host CSer's, I've heard from lots of people who have had great experiences both surfing and hosting.
Interests
Anything outdoors: hiking, biking, any team sport, paddleboarding, kayaking. Cooking and trying out new recipes, practicing some from my days in Spain. Singing and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste tends to be on the folky-side: The Oh Hello's, Andrew Bird, The Fleet Foxes, along with Lana del Rey and Vance Joy. Not a big movie buff, but I'm a sucker for The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz. Reading opinion articles and anthropology literature, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Antonio Machado, Ralph Ellison.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched a Blood Moon rise over an island in the Ionian Sea.
