Just looking to save a little money on accommodation, get to know some locals in the cities I stay in and learn from them the best ways to make the most of my time in a particular place.

I was always a bit nervous about doing this, but after hearing about the great experiences of friends who were both hosting and staying with others, I thought I should go for it!
