Hi! I'm a twenty-year-old from Portland, Oregon currently studying abroad in Copenhagen! I love to read, travel (of course!), walk around cities, knit, draw, bake, and spend time outdoors. I'm a very cheerful and enthusiastic person. I love to be around people, although I may be a little quiet at first. And sorry, but I'm not really a drinker (people always seem so disappointed...). But I am still very friendly and wanting to chat! :) I love hearing about people's experiences and their cultures.

Traveling alone can get lonely; staying with locals offers both a great insider perspective and also someone to chat with in the evenings. And studying abroad for a year is expensive! I need a cheap way to travel while I'm so close to everything here in Denmark :)

I'm a 70-year old at heart. I love reading, farmers' markets, knitting, cooking/baking, art, walking/biking. I try not to use my phone/computer/tv often so that I can connect with people :)

An interesting perspective from having gotten an inside glimpse at both Denmark and the US, two very different cultures.
Also, I'm new to Couchsurfing but I usually use Workaway, where you have to work 4-5 hours a day for food and a bed, so you know I'll be clean and helpful!
