I'm a 28 year old American. I love photography and writing. I enjoy being outdoors and in the fresh air. I am a spontaneous and caring person. I like being around people and learning all I can. I also love to laugh, and I have a big laugh, like a deep in the belly laugh that can be heard from across the room. I like to have fun and am willing to try new things. I think that variety is the spice of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am heading to Costa Rica for my first solo trip. I'm heading down a few days eariler than a wedding that I am a part of. I want to be able to be flexible and see Costa Rica the way that Costan Ricans (Ticos?) see it. I don't mind adventures and love trying new things.

I've been to Europe on a backpacking trip with a friend of mine a few years back, we did hostels and stayed with family and friends.

I am unable to host currently because I am leaving the country, what good would my house be if you couldn't get in. That be said when I do return from my trip, I would gladly love to host people!

Interests

Photography, writing, swimming, running and generally having a good time. I love to laugh and make jokes. People watching is a past time as well. I love figuring out the stories behind people walking down the street, be them real or made-up.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. Huge. However, I will read anything because I love reading. I am a big country fan and I love rocking out. I also read a lot of crime novels and watch crime television, not the real stuff like Dateline, but the you know this is made up but it's still really awesome (NCIS, Criminal Minds)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving. It was amazing, and beautiful. I won't lie, the first few seconds of the free-fall, my eyes were closed. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn all that I can. I am really excited to see what the countries have to offer. I want to see the hidden gems. I like to get lost, by accident or on purpose, so that I can find my way. Along the way, I find things that most people never even know about, it would be my pleasure to be able to share in that retrospect.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to laugh. I can share that love with anyone. I do love a good night out with good people. It will always be new and exciting around me because I have never had these experiences, where ever we go it will be like the first time that you were there. It will bring back the memories of why you love that place.
