Hi, I'm Emily, i'm 26.
I'm from Italy, I was born in South Italy, in a little town close to Lecce which is the most important city in this part of italy. When I was 4 my family moved to North Italy. I grow up with my brother, who is only one year older than me, so I was use to play videogames and board games, this made me a little nerd.
Since I was a child my family taught me the importance of traveling, we visited more italian cities, and I never stop to travel, I m always enthusiastic to see and discover new places and different cultures, that brought me in London, Manchester, which is the city that took my heart❤️ , Barcelona, Canarie island and finally in America, that is always been my big dream.
I m a very easy going person, nothing can bring me down, I m always positive and happy, I like to have plans, but when I travel I m just along for the ride.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchserfing because I think there are two different way to see and live a City, the first one is as a tourist, and don't take me wrong, I like to go around visiting and exploring, but the second way, which I think is the best, is actually live in that city, and only who really know and live there can show you all the little secret spots. Also is interesting see how people live and share our culture, maybe cooking or learning some new slang.

Interests

I discovered the pleasure of reading when I was 12, I could never forget my first book📚, that was about two twin witches, and this was just the beginning, I think is amazing how books brings you in a different world, is an extraordinary way to live new adventures.
I always have a book with me, but my days are not complete without music,🎶 I think everything is better with some music, I prefer rock, but I enjoy different kinds too, as long I can dance.
Also I spent a lot time watching different tv show, there is something better than Netflix and poo corn? 🍿
And yes, I m a girl and I LOVE eating, I may be not so brave trying new food, but I m always curious to know how it tastes

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Sun41, and below all the old rock bands like Blink182, greenday, coldplay, all Americans rejects, also I enjoy italian music like Ligabue, Finley, nek, and more
As I already said I read a lot, so far my favorite book is 1984, one that hits me is "the second coming".
I cannot speak about all the movies that I watched, but let me tell you, I m in love with Jack sparrow, even though my favorite movie is Peter pan, it makes me dream. I watched a lot of tv show too, the last one have been"friends" , of course "the paper house" , and yes even "walking dead" and more and more, if you are nerd, believe me will spend a lot time speaking about this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what people think is amazing, maybe jump down to the helicopter, or swim with the shark, might be eat one hundred hot dogs, well, I didn't do anything like this, but the amazing things I did, have been come here in America, leaving my life in Italy, my friends and my family, only to make my dream be real, the most important thing I did was take the flight that brought me in New York, and this, it doesn't matter how amazing can be, completely changed my life.
