Hi my name is Emily and I am currently backpacking through Europe until the end of March 2015. I have been bound to Canada (Toronto, Ontario) for the majority of my life with some small trips here and there. I just finished my undergraduate degree and I felt like this would be the perfect time to go exploring. I am very excited to see new places, experience different cultures and hopefully meet some friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The major reason I would like to Couchsurf is to meet and chat with people from the area I am visiting. I think this provides a unique experience in learning about the area and the culture.

Interests

I am very passionate about music and the outdoors. I have led whitewater canoe trips for the past 3 years in the summer in Ontario. These have been some of my happiest times. I also am very interested in psychology (my major in undergrad) and playing the guitar.

I really would have to sit down and have a conversation for a while if I were to get into my favourite music. I would basically say that I cannot imagine my life without it (or understand how some people don't listen to music at all).
