I grew up in America and studied for 7 years in Canada; my professional training is in linguistics.

I'm a Swedish citizen and speak Swedish fluently; I also speak French and have started learning Spanish. Next year I will start my PhD in the U.S., and before then I would like to enjoy some different experiences and cultural exchanges.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travelling through workaway and wwoof, I've met so many awesome people, and I'm hoping couchsurfing will be another way to do this.
Of course you meet other travellers in hostels etc but it's not the same; wherever I made a local connection I had a unique experience of the area that I wouldn't have had meeting other travellers.

I am also of course trying to save money, travelling is pricy and I am on a student budget!

I fostered cats for a few years, basically taking in strays and patching them up and adopting them out.
Lots of work but very rewarding.
