About Me
Very easy going :) open to almost anything - easy to excite but hard to shock.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had some magical experiences on couchsurfing why would you want to travel any other way! The most beautiful things in life are free.
Interests
Outdoor activities! All of them, especially my bike (just an extension of myself really) Any form of live music, letter writing, IPA... etc
my favourite thing to do on the weekend is go to the junk recycle centre and repurpose jewellery or clothes with my amateur embroidery, sewing and jewellery making skills!!
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite book god of small things. I like to read national geographic (and make collages out of their beautiful photos). In to lots of types of music I can enjoy pretty much anything (haven't quite managed to tap into the heavy metal side of me but I am sure it's there deep down) electronic ambient, 70s 80s rock, folk, shoegaze, techno woo, even a bit of contemporary piano music(which I tinkle a bit on the piano). All Wes Anderson movies, Erazerhead, Lawrence Anyways, American Beauty, Vanilla sky etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked in the Nepali Himalayas and watched sun setting on Everest. Stayed with Nepali people for 6 weeks who didn't speak English and managed to hold constant conversation through our hands, faces and of course the universal language of laughing :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am sure we can find something - but usually being young I feel like I learn more than I share. But I would love to share my love and knowledge of the environment! (I am a vegan - I do not mind if you have a meat feast in front of me nor do I expect a meal from hosts but once I was surfing and I got served a 3 course meal which was far from vegan - bless)
