A big fan of Liz Gilbert- big magic. Currently reading Rising Strong by Brene Brown and Wuthering Heights.

Music is quite the mixed bag. Currently hooked on Little May out of Australia. A huge fan of oldies, Van Morrison and Sam Cooke hold a special place in my heart. Also a big fan of folk/indie , Bon Iver has some of the most compelling lyrics for me. I listen to a lot of jazz, funk, oldies, reggae, folk, pop, hip hop, rap- you name it. I cover a show every week for a weekly paper here in Portland, OR.

Climbed the dome in Vatican City that overlooks Rome, rappelled down a 100 foot waterfall, danced till 6am in an Argentine club, camped in a tent in Yosemite National Park in the winter, survived an 8.1 earthquake in Peru, ate the most delicious slice of pizza in New York City.
