About Me
--- no longer up-to-date - I'm working on it!! ---
Hey! I'm a solo traveller from the west coast of Canada, currently making my way through Eastern/Central Europe. I love meeting new people and exploring new cities... but my favourite thing to do is head out of the city to go hiking, hit the beach, or swim in a lake! After a day's adventure, I like to sit down and swap stories over some good food, and maybe even jam a little (I play guitar). My next stop is Innsbruck and then elsewhere in Austria and southern Germany. Let me know if you're interested in hosting me! Thanks in advance!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing in spring 2016 during a solo backpacking trip through Eastern/Central Europe. I had heard about it a lot before and thought that maybe one day I would be brave enough to try it... that day came when I was scrambling to find a hostel with a free bed and affordable prices in my next city! I turned to Couchsurfing, had an amazing first experience, and never looked back. Turns out strangers aren't so scary after all 😝

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to teach anything I know that you think is cool - guitar, Spanish or French, recipes (not that I really follow any), how to not panic when you're stranded at 4am in a dark, rainy, foreign city...
In exchange I'd love to meet people who can help me continue to improve my languages, or teach me a few more chords on the ukulele!
Couchsurfing is all about sharing, of course, so I look forward to lots of that too. I love to hear stories and opinions and perspectives (and offer my own as well) and just get to know new people. They're fascinating!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, baking, cleaning, stories, and lots of laughter - that one's a guarantee!
