Hey!
I'm Emily, 24 years old, from York. I'm 2 months into my travels around Europe, mostly the Balkan area, I'm currently working for a charity on the outskirts of Belgrade. I love what I've seen of this city so far but I know there's more to it and sometimes without a local's knowledge it's hard to really know a city. I'm hoping to spend a little while in Germany when I'm finished here in several cities including Dresden, Hamburg and Berlin.
New people are half the fun of travelling, I love meeting new people and trying new things, seeing unusual places, eating unusual things..
I'm pretty good around the house, and a decent cook so if you can put me up for a couple of days I can definitely help out!
I've not done couch surfing before but I've met so many people that have enjoyed it!

I'm looking to meet some new people, see some new places, and be able to spend some time in Germany!

Interests

After travelling, my passion lies with perfume; buying it, talking about it, writing about it, researching, making it and making my own toiletries as well :)
I also have a love of art, there's three things I look for in each new city I go to; a good art gallery (I particularly like Impressionism) a street art or alternative walking tour, and a jazz club (I love live jazz)!
I love discovering new cities, meeting the people, finding the quirks, tasting the food and trying new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite film is Amelie. I love Audrey Tatou.
I tend to read books that I feel I can learn something from, I'm currently reading Perfume: A century of scents. (I know i'm a perfume geek).
I love music, I listen to a lot of soul and Motown, but also a lot of pop-punk, old school punk, rock and ska. And jazz, but ONLY live jazz. I can't listen to it recorded I don't know why. :D
