About Me

I graduated as a midwife and moved to London from my home town in the country last year.
I've always loved to travel and spend every spare penny I have exploring new places.
I'm still trying to finish writing my bucket list and am always looking for ideas! One of my main goals was to visit 30 countries by the time I turn 30 and I'm about to accomplish this with my next trip!
I like to think of myself as a 'Yes' person.... I'm open minded and love to try, learn or experience new things that I might not have considered before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been recommended to me by a number of fellow travellers I've met on my various trips and I've been meaning to sign up and try it out for a while!

Unfortunately, as I'm sharing a flat that has 3 sets of security doors requiring various tags and keys to get through, I'm unable to host at the moment.... I'm usually out of the house from 7:30am until 6pm and wouldn't want to leave my guests either locked in the flat or out on the streets all day!

Interests

My work is my passion so I spent a lot of my time at the hospital in the week.
I've developed a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out!) since moving to London so I love to use my free time to explore my new city and I'm always looking for new activities to try! Cocktail making, rock climbing, theatre, camping, live music, stand up comedy.....

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much all music, maybe with the exception of 70's glam rock!?! Could not live without Spotify and love discovering new bands at small, local gigs.
Spending a rainy afternoon in my local independent cinema is one of my favourite things to do and I'll watch anything once!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing things have happened on my travels but one of the highlights was definitely buying a bike in Ho Chi Minh City and riding all the way through Vietnam to the Chinese border.
