I'm nearing the end of my degree and am keen to get out and see what the rest of the world has to offer. Before settling down in a post-graduate job, I hope to travel to many places and meet fabulous new people! :)

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing, but have a few friends who regularly host, and so have already met many interesting people from around the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Berlin, every Sunday there is a massive flea market in Mauer Park, and also an outdoor karaoke. I used to love going there and finding treasures on the many stalls, and then laugh at some people singing badly in front of crowds of people. One Sunday, me and my friends were just leaving the Park when a group of people called us over and asked us to join their picnic. We thought, why not? And before long, we were all sat together, laughing and sharing stories over a few beers. This group of people we'd just joined were made up of a few smaller groups of people who had all just met each other a few hours earlier, but were already joking together like old friends. I had a fabulous afternoon with these people, and it made me appreciate how wonderful it is just to be friendly and open and share with other fellow human beings. After all, we all live on the same planet, we should all just have fun together :)
