I'm 28 years old and have been teaching English in Madrid for two years but this year I will be living in A Coruña. I'm trying to meet locals who can give me advice on where to go/ what to do...

I love being outdoors and living an active life. In 2020 I am planning a bike tour through Europe but in the meantime I’m planning on learning to surf while in A Coruña. Climbing is a passion of mine and I hope to be at the climbing gym often this year to prepare for some weekend trips.

The world is a very interesting place! I started traveling in New Zealand by myself in 2015, WWOOFing and hitchhiking around. I wanted to see Europe so I decided to move and work here! I’m very excited to see what the north of Spain is like after living in the capital for two years.

I try to live by the golden rule and lead a compassionate life.

Always a hard question... I love Billy Joel and Paul Simon. But I have a wide range of interests as I think many people do. Anything from Smash Mouth to Talking Heads. Willie Nelson to Shakey Graves, Freddy’s Drop to Kendrick Lamar. Father John Misty, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Mozart....

Really, I hardly ever watch TV... I prefer to have it off if there is one in the house. (I haven’t owned one in years.) I still haven’t made it all the way through Friends but I do love it... and Downton Abbey hehe

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, Stand By Me, Nightmare Before Christmas, Kung Pow Enter The Fist... like TV I don’t watch so many movies but I like creativity and suspense.
