About Me

25 year old Colorado kid, serious case of wanderlust, a big part of my heart still lives in Alaska, creative writer and aspiring journalist, book worm, artistic, passionate about learning & exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I left Denver in 2011 with barely any direction and struggled in finding a safe place to stay. I didn't know about this site at the time and I wish I had. Now I'm back in Colorado again and have my own apartment, I would like to return the generosity to the universe that I've been blessed with through chance during my travels. I am staying put for awhile so I'd like to mainly host until I'm able to travel again. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories and learning from them. My home is open to most people and I have met some amazing folks just through friends of friends. I look forward to meeting fellow wanderers, travelers, soul-searchers, and humans in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Apocalyptic, dystopian, alternate timeline, experimental, independent film/music, stand-up comedy, old kung-fu movies, almost any documentary will keep my attention, underground/conscious/old school hip-hop, folk, funk, blues, edm, southern gothic rock, swamp blues, bluegrass, pretty much certain categories of every genre of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from getting my s*** together and making a good life for myself on my own after a lot of years of struggle, the most amazing experience of my recent life was living in Alaska.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couple comfortable couches, no judgement zone, and a positive, creative environment. A peaceful home to lay your head, take a shower (or bath), and eat a nice meal. Good company although I work full-time and go to school so I don't have much time during the week. Tips on where to go and what to see, I am from Denver so I know this city and it's lesser-known gems well :)

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Italy
