Hello! Or in Welsh, shwmae! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Last year, I came up with the idea to walk the length of the river Danube from source to sea. After all of my research I found that no one had ever done that before - so it was time for an adventure!

Over the next year, I walked from the source of the Danube in Germany to the Black Sea. I started my Couchsurfing journey on the first day of the trip, and since then, have had the most amazing experiences (and tried the best food 🤤)!

I am studying Spanish and I love learning about everything - spirituality, food, and other people’s passions. Over the next eight months I will travel around Latinoamérica and practice all that I have learnt from telenovelas!

When I return to Wales, I can finally start hosting and giving back everything that I have received on this amazing journey ✨

I don’t drink alcohol or smoke (it’s cool if you do), and I’m not looking for a hook up or relationship - please don’t try it, I will leave instantly!

El año pasado, pensé en la idea a caminar todo el río Danubio. Nadie han hecho eso, así que era hora por una aventura! Durante los próximo año, camine desde el principio del río en Alemania al mar negro.

Empecé Couchsurfing en el primer día del viaje, y desde eso, he tenido las mejores experiences (y he comido la mejor comida 🤤)!

Estoy estudiando Español, y me encanta aprendiendo sobre todo - espiritualidad, comida, y pasiones de otras personas. Durante los próximos ocho meses viajaré por Latinoamérica y practicando todo lo que he aprendido de las telenovelas!

Cuando regreso a Gales, finalmente puedo comenzar a recibir personas en mi casa y devolverles todo lo que he recibido en este increíble viaje ✨

No bebo alcohol o fumo (está bien si lo haces) y no estoy buscando por una relación o conexión - no lo intentes, me iré al instante.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, see new places, and share tea ceremonies! 🍵

I have met a bunch of awesome people on Couchsurfing, many of whom I now consider good friends. I believe that creating lifelong bonds is the most amazing experience that CS can offer.

I’m spending this time travelling so sadly cannot host anyone :( But when I finally settle down I look forward to giving back all I have received 🥰

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did you know that the tea industry is like, really bad?? Since finding out about the human rights violations, environmental damage, and sheer amount of chemicals and pesticides involved in most tea processing, I decided to start up a tea business that actually supports the real heroes of the industry.

I’m super passionate about tea and connecting with the farmers that craft each and every brew, and am so proud to bring their tea to people all over the world 🍵

Alsooo, in Slovenia I rescued a little duckling who nearly died from a boat accident, and now she is a healthy and happy duck. It was only recently that I had to give her to her new family, however, so it might still be a bit raw to talk about 🥲

Then I rescued a puppy in Bulgaria… Her name is Ned 🥰

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make the perfect cup of tea! I’m actually certified by the International Tea Academy and can talk about tea for hours, so can teach you about my favourite beverage. I’m currently working on running my own tea meditation sessions online, so would love to have a tea meditation session with you 🥰

Plus, having grown up in Wales, I know a few words which I can teach - but sadly, not as much as I’d like due to the whole Welsh Knot situation 😔

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything mentioned above - plus, Welsh cakes! These are delicious little cookie/ biscuit/ cakes with raisins, and are traditional in Wales. They’re super easy to make and I’d love to share my recipe with you and enjoy some Welsh cakes over a cup of tea (do I sound obsessed about tea yet??) 😊
