About Me

Hello! We are an easy going couple who love to travel and get to know folks from new places. Other than getting to know a community through it's people, we also like to learn about new places through it's food. So if you all have any unique, culturally defining and yummy food recommendations, we're all ears! We live on a sailboat... so if you live in small quarters, don't worry, we're used to it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two transformative years living in a small mud home in the middle of Paraguay doing agriculture work and developed some of the best friends I've ever had. My husband, Joseph, was a diver in the US Coast Guard as well as an electronics technician and has traveled all over the world. We have also lived in a sail boat for the past three years, while it is totally normal to us now, it's a pretty amazing feat and we LOVE tiny home living.

Teach, Learn, Share

I lived in Paraguay for a few years and learned quite a bit of Guaraní. Happy to share some if interested! My husband and I live on a sailboat so I have mastered the art of cooking in a small space. I have to say, I'm pretty good at it at this point, so if you are interested in learning how to cook with limited resources I'm your gal! Joseph is the best handyman I've ever known (not that i'm biased =)) so if you need anything fixed or would like to learn a thing or two about wood working, he is a great resource!
