Hello! My name is Emily and I'm from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I first traveled internationally on a trip to Spain in high school and have loved learning (and relearning) Spanish ever since. I like to travel new places and try to explore them on foot as much as possible when I get there. My parents live in Montana near Glacier National Park and I love to go visit them and go on day hikes in the mountains.

When I'm at home in Minneapolis, I work as an assistant at a small art gallery, though I've worked in restaurants for 10 years as well. Art has always been a passion of mine, though lately I've been helping with other people's art (at nonprofits, printmaking shops, and galleries) more than I make my own, which is still really rewarding! I like to spend my time reading nonfiction and some novels (although I am slow to finish books since I usually have many started at once). When all else fails my cat, Sven, provides plenty of entertainment.
