About Me

I love being around people, I am outgoing and love volunteering while also travelling the world. What an experience it is to travel, the places you see and the people you meet; making it one of the greatest adventures anyone could ever go on! Couchsurfing is very special, to not only share your stories but also feel like you are going on an adventure when you listen to others.

I have been so lucky (and forever thankful and grateful ) to have met so many amazing people on my CS adventures :)

A tiny little side note - * I am gluten intolerant*

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Dictionary.com defines travelling as - 'to proceed or advance in any way.'

To say you have travelled doesn't just mean that you have visited a place, taken a couple of photos and got a stamp on your passport. No. For me travelling means I too advance... by meeting locals and gaining greater (and even different) perspectives from others.

That is where I feel a lot of people have missed out and why I believe that couch surfing is an amazing opportunity to do this.

Interests

I love meeting people and socialising. There is so much to learn about one another and that's through talking and sharing stories and experiences.

I have just completed my masters in social work which has provided me with a range of experiences from studying in northern Sweden and working in the outback in Australia to my student placement in Nepal.

Previously I have volunteered for four years in Australia working with people living with a disability and wanted to extend my knowledge and go to Canada and volunteer for a summer camp for six months.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joined this incredible network and met SO many wonderful people!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new perspectives from all different walks of life and hearing others experiences, plus sharing my own. Travelling is an amazing opportunity for all three.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I absolutely love Australia. I am proud to say I have quite a lot of this beautiful country and have plenty of stories to share.

I am a very curious person and really thrive when sharing stories, experiences, skills and knowledge with one another.

Along with all of my travelling stories, I can cook and could definitely attempt to find some great locations for fabulous coffee. I am really flexible and easygoing and am more than willing to rotate around your schedules 😀
