Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a college student who found her love of travel very early in my life. I had the absolute pleasure to get to go to Europe when I was thirteen and have been traveling ever since. Getting to know people with the same love of traveling, and getting to know people from different places, is half the fun. So couch surfing seems to be the place to do that!
I have a good portion of curiosity in me, and a desire to try as much as I can while I can. For me a good amount of this is traveling, I'd like to be able to visit as many places in the world as possible.
Interests
When I travel I'm interested in everything. I could spend the rest of my life walking around museums and historic towns. My mother is a huge history nerd and it completely rubbed off on me. The stories that history tells are amazing and I can't get enough of them.
Travelling is generally my biggest interest. In a perfect world I would travel all the time, and would somehow fit it into or make it my career. For now I'll settle with spending as much time doing it as possible.
I really like just walking around and getting to know a place, I knit, crochet and read a ton, I love to cook and meet new people. I'm generally up for trying everything at least once.

Music, Movies, and Books
As I said I read a lot, my favorite genre is Young Adult, but I read just about everything. I love John Green, 'Paper Towns' resonated with me on a very personal level. I'm also a Sarah Dessen fan, and E. Lockhart. I have a list of favorite books that anyone is welcome to ask me about, it can get a bit long if I type it all out though.
I also read comic books, my current favorite is "Young Avengers" (Kieron Gillen) and my all time favorite is "Y the Last Man" (Brian K. Vaughan).
I'm a sucker for a good Romantic Comedy, my favorite movie genre of all time being the 90's teen movie. I'm also all about movies with cult followings, they're always so out there and interesting. Generally though I love movies, I'll watch almost anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Created my own Feminist curriculum to teach at an inner city after school program. Really hard but so worth it!
