Hey! I am Emily.

I am Australian and my home is based in Castella, Victoria. I am surrounded by forests, and venture a few times a week to the city for work.

My home is my sanctuary, and I have found that it is also the same for others when they come and visit.

My work is based around the sports industry, but I also dabble in a bit of youth work and mentoring aswell. I enjoy being outdoors and living a content, simple lifestyle

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy having people come and share my home. It really is a space to retreat and relax, and I know how much of an effect it can have on people after staying a few days here.
It is only accessible by car as the closest town (and bus stop) is a 15 minute drive away

I am a massive fan of Australian hip-hop.. Think along the lines of Illy, Hilltop Hoods, Thundamentals. I am also very guilty of blaring Lady GaGa and Miley Cyrus very loudly at home, so I suppose you could say I have varied interests ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19 I created a junior girls football league in my area which is now the biggest junior girls AFL competition in Australia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a spare bedroom, and also a camper van outside for accomodation. Depending on my availability, and the time of the year I can also take guests up to the snow (Mount Donna Buang) or do a small tour of my hometown, Healesville.
