24 - Irish - Living in Belfast

I will be visiting Slovenia between the 1st - 7th September and would love to hear from anyone who might like to meet up- I'm really keen to do some hiking, caving and potentially sky diving so if you think you might like to join me or if any locals have any tips then please send me message!

Because I love to travel and see new places but I think the only way to fully appreciate your destination is by getting to know the people that live there and by experiencing everyday life through their eyes. That's why I couchsurf, I prefer it to hostels/hotels as I seek a more personal and meaningful experience from travelling (i.e. by connecting with people not to a hostels wifi..)

I would describe myself as a very curious person- I like to learn and develop from every experience, so I highly value open-mindedness and positivity. Although I hope for some good conversation and time to connect with my host, I love to be outdoors exploring/ hiking/ discovering local life- so I don't expect you to interrupt your normal routine for me (but equally would welcome the company if you wanted to join!)

Waking up at 2am to hike high above Interlaken and watch the sunrise over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau was pretty special.

Unfortunately I'm not in a position where I can return the favour and offer a couch (yet... it's my IOU to CS), but I hope I fulfill some classic Irish sterotypes by providing some 'craic' over a drink. I'm always interested to hear other peoples stories and from my own roaming I feel I've collected a few myself.
