Hi there! :) My name is Emily and I am a down to earth, open-minded, and compassionate young woman and would love to see as much of the world as possible! I am currently residing in my hometown McCall, Idaho- a beautiful, small mountain town. I'm almost 24 and am ready for adventure, for the opportunity to soak in another's lifestyle. I want to learn, adapt, grow, and continue to humble myself on my journey through this crazy beautiful world.

I love people and animals and have always had a heart to serve others. One of my favorite quotes by Stephen Grellet exemplifies how I see our time on this earth.. “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”

I would say that I am a very easy person to be around - very adaptable- and have a great sense of humor. I, too, am fun-loving, honest & genuine, and I love to learn and experience new things!!

I am currently planning my next adventure to visit New Zealand this coming January/February with my good friend- so we would LOVE to be able to meet some local friends and get a taste of the true Kiwi lifestyle!

I was fortunate enough to experience my very first couchsurf in Prague and absolutely fell in love with the whole idea of opening up one's home to a complete strange, with the genuine intention of meeting a new friend, learning about a new culture, and potentially broadening your perspective on this world and the people in it. Not to mention I had an incredible host/overall experience and was able to meet some truly great people. As I previously mentioned, my girlfriend and I will be heading to NZ towards the end of January and would love to meet some new friends! We will be traveling around both the North and South Island and are so stoked to see what the beautiful lands have to offer and hopefully meet some of the awesome and friendly people in it! 😊

I LOVE nature and am a really active person, enjoying pretty much any activity outdoors (running, hiking, biking, snowboarding). I love having a good time- drinking wine, dancing, having conversation- just getting to know other people in general :)
