About Me
I just came back to the US after living in Amsterdam, Netherlands and spent last semester in Quito, Ecuador. I'm a lover of travel, animals, good vibes, and human moments. I'm looking forward to sharing experiences with strangers that will soon turn to friends. Also obsessed with hiking, nature, etc. So would love some recommendations as to if there are any natureish things to do near you. I love the outdoors so much so that if I were an animal in another life I would’ve been a dog. Like a really large golden retriever, who just ran around and lived a jolly life. That’s essentially the vibe I try to emulate. Also I can always offer up a place to stay in the US! Will be going back home end of June, and looking forward to spending some time hiking National parks when I’m home. I’d love to practice my Spanish or hear about experiences in any other Latin American countries/cultures. I know I’m as white as can be, but I harbor a deep love for trying to make my Spanish sound as un-gringa as possible. I'm an activist for both women’s rights and LGBTQ rights, and would appreciate a kindred soul :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This year I've decided to embark on a multi-continent study abroad adventure. Fall 2017 I am studying in Quito Ecuador and exploring Latin America, and in Spring 2018 I will be venturing to Amsterdam to spend a second semester there. My best friend Megan is joining me in Amsterdam, as well as for a journey across Europe before and after the semester begins. I'm looking to exchange stories and life tips, and hopefully get some insight from couch surfers about the countries we embark on as we hop from country to country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think what I'm currently doing is pretty amazing. I went from knowing nothing but the United States to leaving my university for a year on an adventure for self growth, travel, and an exploration of new cultures
But if I had to choose one thing it would be hiking around and sleeping in an active volcano.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn to cook some new dishes, to meet some new people, and explore new cultures and languages
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think of myself as very self reflective and observant. I want to have conversations about culture, share deep thoughts about life, and share ideas about human rights.
I’m also of course respectful to any host rules.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands
