Overview
About Me
I am a West Virginia native who grew up with a camera in my hand. I took my first photograph at the age of three, hiking in Monongahela National Forest with my parents. So, from a young age I developed a love for the outdoors and for capturing it’s beauty through the lens.
I graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Online Journalism after completing my minor in Photography through a Study Abroad trip to Italy. My passions include reading, photography, sea turtle conservation, yoga, and spending time outdoors and with my dog.
My career goal is to be a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist; I want to travel the world, telling people’s stories through my writing and photography and settling social, political, and environmental injustices through this work.
I currently live and work in the two Virginias.

If you read my "about me" you know that I aspire to be a world traveller. I have seen some of the world, but those travels only intensified my desire to see more of it. I want to join this like-minded community of travelers to host when I can, and be hosted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Cinque Terre trails in Italy with about eight hours notice. Decided on a whim to do it, even with a hurt back and a double ear infection, walked to the train station in Florence, Italy that night, and bought my ticket. Slept on a friend's couch, and was on a train by 6 AM. It was the best thing I did during my time in Italy.
