Hello to you!

Though I haven't yet surfed a couch which was found by the use of this site, I am happy to say I have surfed many couches on my travels which I embarked on from February when I left this year! I'll be home for the new year and will be most happy to offer my couch to any travellers! I can't say how much I have LOVED staying with people around the world, making home on various couches here and seeing places through the eyes of kind souls who like to share their world with me- and all the rest of us!

I am a New Zealand born musician, and I left the motherland to live abroad pursuing my music from the other side of the globe for a while. It's been great!
I've been recording at 'Funk Haus Studios' in Berlin and will be releasing some Berlin made tunes pretty soon!
The people who i've met on my travels has been the highlight of it all- for me I like to connect with people and I love the millions of different ways that can happen- a highlight has been busking the streets of Berlin and seeing the way strangers approach! So thankful that I've been able to survive off my music on this side of the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing began for me in NZ when I met some lovely German girls doing WOOFING (or workaway) at a sweet little organic store in NZ where I head on holiday quite often. We got chatting and after enjoying my banana ice cream I offered them a couch at my place in Auckland if they were heading up that way- and boom! The following week I had two German gals crashing at mine and I got to show them my world and my city! We had dinner parties with my mates and they came to a few gigs and I got to drive them around the place showing them all the things you just MUST see when in my hood. It was great!
Now every time i'm in Tairua (where the organic store is) I look forward to meeting the various travellers who are working there and offer them my couch (which is actually more comfy than my bed ;) ).
The cool thing was that months later I found myself on their side of the world and have now been able to see towns that I'd never even heard of- due to having a friend in these places!

SO I absolutely love this, happy to be amongst and looking forward to meeting many a travellers in my Country when you come to visit!
