I love to travel, especially in Europe. I've made 10 trips to Berlin, Germany in the last 15 years, plus several other countries all over Western Europe.

My undergraduate degree is in French with a German minor. I am in the process of starting graduate school. Currently, I am a bartender in Indianapolis, Indiana at a restaurant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to explore opportunities in other places in the US and all over the world where I can meet new people (and also avoid hotels). In my many years of traveling, I've found that locals always know the best spots to visit, for eating, and for drinking!

I have an eclectic taste in music, but my favorites are: Tom Waits, Nine Inch Nails, and Pink Floyd.

I love movies. Hitchcock, Kubrick, and Tarantino are some of my favorites.

I read about anything. Really, seriously, ANYTHING. I read 20-30 books each year and have since I was a child.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good cook, so... FOOD! I make some great cocktails. Also, I love to learn about other cultures. I am glad to share with hosts my own life and experiences, and I enjoy good conversation.
