About Me
"My religion is nature. That's what arouses those feelings of wonder and mysticism and gratitude in me." Oliver Sacks
I'm a laidback Washingtonian who likes nothing more than to spend quality time connecting with quality people. I'm always down to embark on an adventure no matter how small or impossible it may seem. I like funny blokes and people that have interesting things to say, so let's hang out!
CURRENT MISSION
I aim to incorporate meditation into my life. To project positivity, acceptance, and love. To improve my physical and mental health, maybe even pick up a new hobbie, skill, or healthy philosophy along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After graduating from University I struggled to see my life rooted in the States. I decided to embark on a long journey with my best friend, to hopefully meet and understand lifestyles and cultures from around many parts of the world. I want to meet you! To learn from the worlds people all that I feel is lacking at home, by gaining new perspectives and ideas surrounding life.
Interests
I LOVE plants. From botany, physiology, ethnobotany, to agriculture, and permaculture.
Anytime I can get outside and experience nature or get my endorphins/ adrenaline up. Hiking, trekking, tramping, biking, kyaking, boating, skiing, swimming, diving, cliff jumping, camping, climbing trees, picking flowers, etc.
Hula hooping because it's fun, it gets your body moving, and music is usually involved.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music in alternative genres including but not limited to rock, gypsy, folk, blues, classic rock, reggae, jazz, classical, hardcore/screamo, punk, electronic, and instrumental. I dislike country and detest pop music, but open minded to anything that isn't total brainwashed garbage.
As I travel it has become a game to swap or pick up free books at hostels along the way. Anything cynical, dark, humorous, or well written catches my eye but in reality Im open to anything which will make me think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meh, life
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm young and have a lot left to learn, but I'm willing to listen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I may not be a gourmet chef but I'm willing to cook any day of the week, have a laugh over a pint, even tend a garden, or wash a goat. Weirder things have happened while surfing.
