I am a 26 year old school social worker who loves to run, travel, read, rock climb, drink good beer, and sing Beyoncé at the top of my lungs! :) I currently live in St. Louis and enjoy exploring nature and new cities whenever I can! My goal is to take a handstand picture in each new city I visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but on a social worker's budget that can sometimes be difficult. I'm about to go on a 3-week long backpacking trip through Europe with my cousin, so we may end up couch surfing for part of our trip! I love traveling and meeting new people, and couch surfing lends itself to both of those things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music would include any classic rock (The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, etc.), any indie pop (Walk the Moon, Kimbra, Passion Pit, The Mowgli's, etc.), I also love hip hop/pop (especially for working out). But if I had to pick some absolute musical favorites, I'd probably go with The Beatles, Beyoncé, Joni Mitchell, and Ben Folds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived Teach For America (two year teaching program). It almost killed me but was also amazing professional development. Shout out to all the teachers out there because teaching is one of the most difficult jobs out there and is not compensated nearly enough!
