I'm 20 years old and I'm currently living in France for this year to teach English as part of my degree. My contract ends at the end of April so I'm looking to travel as much as I can before I go back to England to finish my studies. I love the fact that when you travel, it allows you to meet so many people from different corners of the planet to engage and connect with, sharing stories and helping each other out when we need it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and making new connections while doing so: rather than being a tourist I prefer to be a citizen of the world and couchsurfing seems like the perfect place to do just that

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music - it's a universal language. I'm listening to a lot of reggae at the moment however also lots of classical, acoustic folk and various sorts of jazz (it really depends on my mood) Films that suck you in and make you think critically about things are my favourite. Into the wild is one of my favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Morocco I went to a few different cities and in each one I went to a high point to see across the city at sunset and the feeling was so surreal; meditating on being such a tiny part of the world. The sounds of the evening calls to prayer were magic moments.
