I'm a registered old social worker with a desire to connect with people from all walks of life. My greatest passion is supporting people in their journey for change but I believe that's difficult to do unless we are also working on our own changes. Speaking of which - I hate change! I have big growing pains right now with a desire to improve myself and where I am at in life though I haven't quite figured out how to do that yet!

I have a passion to see the entire world at least once, write a novel, have children and foster children, break ground in my field, return to academia and eventually teach.

But for now, I'm a happily engaged mother of four cats waiting for my wedding next year and hoping to take a solo trip the mountains this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find places to stay and new people to meet in my travels to the West Coast.

Given our small town I doubt that we will often be requested for hosting, but we have plenty of space and would be more than happy to do so!

I haven't done a whole lot in my life however, I was published three years in a row as a teenager in a Canadian Poetry Anthology.
