About Me

Hi! I'm Emily, I'm 26 and starting training as a student nurse this September (2016), currently I work as a personal assistant within the surgical theatres.
I like rooftop views, quirky bars, flea markets, outdoor spaces, museums, underground bars, walking, and generally any new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel (of course), I love meeting new people, I really love finding the quite spots known by the locals and experiencing a city properly so when my friend recommended coach surfing I thought I'd give it a go!

I would love to do a couch trade but as I live in a shared house its a little bit complex, but I do move to London at the end of September so it's not impossible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I've listened to lately includes the Goo Goo Dolls, Gabrielle Aplin, Sia, and James bay, but half my family are all very musically talented in different ways (not myself sadly) so I grew up with all sorts and generally have a passion for all types of music.

Currently I'm reading Chris Hadfield's "An astronauts guide to life on Earth" which is an inspiring biography, and "Beautiful Chaos" poetry by R.M Drake

Films literally anything. I just like film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bakpacked South east Asia alone, it was my first solo travel and it was such a beautiful experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, I learnt Thai cooking in Chaing Rai so I can make a good curry. I like quirky museums and I love good coffee and if you're ever in Oxford I can show you some of our finest spots.
I'm chatty and outgoing, I like to think I'm easy to get on with so hopefully we can share stories, experiences, and friendship.
