Hello! I am Emily. I graduated from LSU with a Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising, Fine Art and Art Administration in 2016. Since then I have been traveling in Central America and Europe for 2 years. Recently I've been back home in Long Beach NY, working as a creative visual merchant to save up for future travels! I love to travel and am always itching to be on the move! My next big adventure is to go to south-east Asia.

I am a very energetic person and love outdoor activities such as surfing, camping, hiking and practicing yoga. I love to express my creative side through many different outlets such as painting, drawing, hula hopping and aerial silks. I always have my sketchbook with me if anything throughout the day gives me inspiration.

I always can get down to live music and try to catch as many live shows as possible, boogieing with friends preferably with a tasty craft beer in hand!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to travel and meet people who share the same ideals. Trust is a big issue with couchsurfing, I wish people were more trusting in the world. I am glad it still exists here.

I want to travel the world. I believe through couch surfing meeting the locals of the area is the best experience you can have!

I don't have any specific favorite movies but I love watching documentaries, anything that I can learn from is great!
