Hi! my name is Emily and I am a 23 year old architect from New York City.

I absolutely love all things surrounding architecture. In 2014, I spent a semester in Copenhagen which only strengthened my interest in design. I'm taking several months to travel across Europe before starting my graduate program in the fall of 2017.

I am incredibly clean and love to cook (especially with new friends!). Most importantly I am a warm and friendly person who respects your space. It would be a pleasure to meet you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love coffee and drink a lot of it :)

I really like punk/alternative music, so that's mostly what I listen to but I love being exposed to new types of music and getting to know people through sharing recommendations!

Some of my favorites are Pixies, White Stripes, Pavement, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Woods, Hidden Cameras, The Mighty Lemondrops, The Hives, The Sonics, The Black Keys, Magnetic Fields, and definitely Buddy Holly.

I always carry two books with me...:) right now it's M Train by Patty Smith and Snow by Orhan Pamuk. I picked up Snow because I visited the museum built by the author in Istanbul. Go if you can!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking for new friends...I also am an avid baker!
Being an architect I can draw pretty well so I can also do a little little illustration, portrait, map, or a floor plan for you. :)
