Overview
About Me
I am an organic farmer and musician from the redwoods of northern California. I'm easy-going and adventurous. I've lived in Hungary for a year as an exchange student in high school and spent two years at University in Paris where I hosted several couch surfers and also met up with several others for small adventures in the city ( my old account was attached to an email that I don't use any more). I've traveled around South-East Asia for several months and studied yoga in India. My goal is to get my Australia work-holiday visa very soon and maybe meet up with some of you beautiful people along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I truly love it all! Some of my long time favorites would be Devendra Banhart, Little Dragon, Tinariwen, T.Rex, Hiatus Kaiyote, The Beatles, Fleet Foxes, Leonard Cohen, Of Montreal, Regina Spektor, etc.etc. but I'm always open to listening to anything. Life is better with music on.
movies: I don't watch too many movies anymore but I used to really love French new wave, Jodorowsky films, the Duplass brothers (Blue Jay), any of the classics >70's, and I'll always Love Eternal Sunshine.
Books: lately I've loved adventure/anthropology books. Kon-tiki and the Ra Expeditions blew my mind! Coming of Age in Samoa by Margaret Mead. I love novels by Tom Robbins and poetry by Richard Braughtigan, and I can always re-read David Sedaris'books when I need a good laugh.
I also love podcasts! I've listened to Radiolab and This American Life the longest, but there are sooooooo many good ones!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I felt really good about playing a set at the Whiskey A Go Go in L.A. when I was 16!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the basics of guitar and ukulele, a bit of yoga, or how to make a tasty meal out of whatever might be laying around the kitchen. I'm looking to learn just about anything!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love meeting new people, having easy-going conversation and learning about other's life stories. If you play music I'm always interested in a jam session. I'm great with kids and am always willing to help with cooking and washing up!
