Hiya. I'm Emily, from the South West of the UK. I've been travelling in Australia and New Zealand most recently, staying with friends and family. I'll be visiting California from 4th Feb to 2nd March. I'm looking forward to doing some exploring, hopefully surfing, hiking, and catching some live music, as well as meeting some interesting new people. Cultural exchange ftw.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet cool, fun, interesting locals, and make some memories! I love to contribute to a happy household :) When I have a couch of my own again on my return I hope to be able to host fellow travellers in return.

I love meeting new people and experiencing or hearing about different cultures. Even with western countries there are still some interesting differences. Art, music, and people are my passions so I love to teach, share and learn about all these things, and more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm friendly, warm, open, kind, creative, fun, always up for adventures, and like helping out with chores. I love to cook. I'm quiet and considerate when at home but also sociable. I am a visual artist and would love to contribute with a gift of art. I especially enjoy portraiture- of people, pets, or both together.
