I am one of those thoroughly modern twenty-somethings who is taking the whole of her twenties to figure things out :)

I seek inspiration from other intrepid adventurers. I like to meet other people and have chats over tea, coffee or beer.

I travel to understand other cultures and people, to escape from my daily routine, and, most importantly, to sample the local beer, wine and food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a fantastic way to get to know the places I visit. I like to meet people and find out about the local ways.

Interests

I like reading, writing and listening to music. For exercise I do yoga, run and cycle. I like to have my friends round for dinner, and I am currently learning how to cook middle eastern cuisine. I love to travel and explore places on my bicycle.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of music ranging from pop to the downright weird and funky. My favourite authors are Henry James, Jean-Marie Le Clezio, Dostoevsky, Doris Kearns Goodwin (for a good historical read), Norman Mailer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently traveled around Cuba, sometimes by bus, but other times by rusting, sputtering 1950s Cadillac! I hiked through tobacco fields, salsa danced with the locals and ate dinner at Casas with the locals. The whole trip was one amazing adventure.
