Hi everyone ^_^ Currently in DC until Christmas!

I'm a PhD student from Newcastle, always interested in seeing more of the world. I'm as happy indoors with Netflix and a hot cocoa as I am going out - I love a good art exhibition and there are so many museums I want to explore. I love a fun night out, either clubbing or pubbing. I really like long chats over coffee or whiskey, and I'm a truly terrible dancer.

I've been on couchsurfing for a while now, and I've loved all of the ways I've used it. You get to experience a place from the view of the people who live there, and that's truly incredible. It's really lovely to meet so many new people, and everyone I've encountered is so incredibly kind, passionate, and 'alive'.

I love any sort of discussion, especially if I can change my mind on something! I'm a good cook and would be more than happy to cook for you. I do a mean satay stir fry, roasted aubergine, and a spicy bean casserole.
