About Me
Hi there!
I'm Emily from Australia and I believe myself to be a fun, kind and considerate sort of person. I'm very easy-going and try to be the best person I can be - whether it be staying at someone's home or offering mine to them. I found my love for travel many years ago when I first attained a working holiday visa for the UK. Since then I've been studying, working as a flight attendant and travelling extensively in between. I've since quit my job as a flight attendant to become a teacher of English - so as to give myself a passport to live and immerse myself in various cultures. Being. Flight attendant was fun for some time but at the end of the day, I think you need to stay for a while to really appreciate a place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people - I truly believe it's the greatest aspect of travelling. The people you meet - the stories they tell - and the local hotspots they know to go to! At this point I'm quite new to couch surfing and have only hosted once by default. They were two awesome Belgium backpackers who I sold my old MacBook to who then enlightened me about the world of couch surfing! I will always be thankful to them. They made me realise what I was missing and I now plan to spend the rest of my holiday couch surfing as much as possible and meeting some wonderful new people. Now the fun begins!! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly classical versions of everything, but some contemporary films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went horse riding on a safari in Cape Town. I wanted to go fast so the guide took me for an extra ride at the end so we could gallop...the horse was pissed off because she was ready for her dinner and we changed her plans, end of the story she bucked me off - but it was still amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have not much more to teach than my outlook positivity. I've got a whole lot to learn about life - hopefully you're a talker cause I'm definitely a listener but can also hold a decent conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to laugh and will always be up for a chat. I'm clean, considerate and respectable of your home. I'm also happy to help cook or bring the wine or beers ;)
