Music, Movies, and Books
Music (anything in the rock genre): Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, Group Love, The Front Bottoms, Glass Animals, John Mayer, The Ramones, My Chemical Romance, Cold Play, David Bowie, Queen, and more on my spotify rotation.
Movies: Sinister, The Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Univited, Silence of The Lambs, Get Out, and many other movies. Horror is my favorite genre because I enjoy a good scare, don't worry I like many non-horror movies as well.
Books: There are too many to list on here, but some genres include fiction, innovation, cookbooks, mystery, sci-fi, and on an occasion "teen books" like Harry Potter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran my first marathon in Berlin Germany (2019). I ran cross country and track in high school, but I am in no way good at running. After high school I ended up joining a running club where many of my friends ran marathons throughout the year. So far I have ran 4 marathons total (all have rained and occured on a day with lower temperatures) maybe running NYC Marathon will be different this year?? I love how the sport connects many people with different goals (personal best preformance, finishing, raising money for charity, representing their country, etc). And best of all, one only needs a good pain of athletic shoes and a safe area to go out for a run of any distance.
I have traveled to over half of the states in America.
Lastly, before college I hosted a girl from the Netherlands. Oops, I guess this is three things so I will stop here!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things and I am not picky about the subject matter. I would not consider myself a "teaching" person because I have no formal background. People have told me that I am good at explaining details though if that counts?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have lived at my college with roomates for over four years so I know how to take care of my own items and respect other people's space.
Most people consider me as shy at first, but I am good at listening to others and holding a conversation.
Countries I’ve Visited
