Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty versatile, especially love seeing bands live and thoroughly enjoy the local Aussie music scene.
Movies: tricky one but Forrest Gump probably wins.
Books: anything from old school Jane Austen to murder mysteries to fantasy - hostel book swaps have expanded my taste!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
6 weeks in Morocco in 2012 is still one of my favourite adventures. I had some great authentic experiences - like attending a traditional Moroccan wedding as the only English speaker in the town of Essaouira. After volunteering my time in a local female run shop for a week, the ladies surprised me with the invite. Everyone wanted a dance with the token white girl, and it was one of the most surreal nights of my life!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully we can spin a good yarn about previous travels, and if anyone wants to join me on any of my exploring through Samoa and Fiji then I can promise a good time!
