About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore, grow, smile, have fun.
ABOUT ME
I recently graduated from Brandeis University and moved back to Denver, where I taught 7th grade math for a semester. Now I am taking a bit of time off to travel.
I love to be outdoors and to cook yummy vegan meals and treats. I am really interested in discussing absolutely anything, from dreams to foreign affairs to Harry Potter to black holes. Some of my eventual goals include hiking all of Colorado's 13'ers and 14'ers, go to the Peace Corps and/or an Americorps project, and eventually return to school for a masters of international development.
PHILOSOPHY
Do what you love, appreciate nature, learn some crazy things, don't harm others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed several times and really hope to be able to host other surfers in the future, as I would love to give back to this community with the same generosity that has been extended towards me. Couchsurfing, in my opinion, is such a wonderful way to meet and learn about new people and be able to explore a new place with more of a local's point of view-- I love when hosts are able to venture into town with me or give me pointers on great things to see and do in their area.

Climbing trees in the mountains of Kentucky to watch the sunset over the valley.
Attending carnaval in Oruro, Bolivia.
Floating in the Dead Sea.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ask me about veganism, hiking, wildflowers, or amateur cosmology studies. I would be more than happy to chat and teach what I know, and definitely more than happy to learn something from you as well! If you have an pole-vaulting knowledge, definitely let me know as I have a random interest in learning how to do it.
