ABOUT ME

I don't really know how to describe myself, as different people bring out different things in me. I like adventure and surprises. I like to laugh and be with people who have good energy. I value honesty and integrity and believe in karma.

I live on a beautiful little island off the coast of Taiwan. I came here for the serenity and peacefulness of the island. Life here is laid back, slow and there's time to do what you want, no hustle and bustle of city life. There are beaches everywhere and plenty of water activities to do here....surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving, swimming, boogey boarding, or just sitting in a hammock near the beach. My life right now is like a permanent vacation ;)

PHILOSOPHY

1. Have thirst for life. Will travel.
2. Learn languages. You never know when you'll need to save the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just got back from the Philippines where I met a CSer who was a great host and took me and some other CSers to a deserted island for a night of camping. It was an awesome first experience. Summer is busy in Penghu so I expect to be hosting quite a bit.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp.
Canyoning in Switzerland.
Adventure Race in Mongolia (plans for summer 2013).
Spending time with kids at AIDS orphanage in Thailand.
Visiting inmate at the 'Bangkok Hilton'.
Training with our national ski team.
Learning to scuba dive.
Shaving my head and donating my hair to charity.
I'm pretty proud of all the crazy things I've tried eating around Asia...better not to know till after it's swallowed.
