About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn from amazing people like you!
ABOUT ME
I started my independent travel streak volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2007. I went back home to complete my B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota, meanwhile living and learning in Cuernavaca, Mexico and Cape Town, South Africa among other places. I was sent to Guanajuato, Mexico on a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship after graduation in 2010 and am having a lot of trouble leaving. I really enjoy taking photos, dancing salsa, traveling and meeting new people, as well as learning about local culture, history, and politics by doing a lot of serious hanging out.
